The Azerbaijani national football team under 17 played its first match today as part of the second round of the European Championship qualifying stage. Sport24.az reports that our national team, which is in Group 2 of League B, faced the local team in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
The match held at the "Hristo Botev" stadium started at 17:00 Baku time. The match was managed by a team of referees from Slovenia and North Macedonia.
The winner was not determined in the tense match. The match ended in a 1:1 draw.
