Italian football club Como will apply a strict rule to season ticket holders who do not attend home games without a valid reason.
Sports.Biz reports, citing "EspansioneTv", that if a season ticket holder misses more than three home matches without prior notification and a valid reason, their season ticket may be revoked and they may lose the right to renew it for the next season.
The purpose of the new rule is to ensure that all seats at the "Giuseppe Sinigaglia" stadium are occupied by Como fans. The club management noted that in previous seasons, some opposing fans entered the home stands, while local fans were unable to find tickets.
Season tickets will only be allowed to be transferred to a Como fan. Violation of the rules may result in revocation of the season ticket.
Como expects demand for home games to increase even more after their historic Champions League qualifying campaign. Season tickets for 19 home games in Serie A will go on sale, while a package including four home Champions League matches will be sold separately after the draw.
