Lent.az reports that this information was released by "The Touchline" before the tournament, which starts on June 11 in Mexico.
According to calculations, the total value of the players of the French national team is 1.47 billion euros.
This indicator puts them in first place in the list. The English national team, with a team value of 1.32 billion euros, takes second place.
Spain completes the top three with a total player value of 1.27 billion euros.
The 2026 World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19. For the first time in history, three countries - the United States, Canada, and Mexico - will jointly host the tournament.
The upcoming World Cup will be the first tournament in which 48 national teams will participate.
The opening match will be played on June 11 at the "Atsteca" stadium in Mexico City, where Mexico will face South Africa.
Argentina is the current world champion.
