The invitation of Mustafa Kamara, the son of Guinean footballer Abdelkader Kamara, who once wore the uniform of "Gabala", to the Azerbaijani U-21 national team, has been met with interest in the football community.
Many people do not know that the midfielder, who currently plays for the Belgian club "Sent-Truden", was born in Mingachevir. One of the interesting facts is that he was circumcised in this city.
Abdulqadir Soltanov, a graduate of the Medical University, a surgeon-oncologist and a veteran of the First Karabakh War, who circumcised Mustafa Kamara, said that the footballer was brought to the hospital years ago by the well-known coach Azer Hashimov.
According to Azer Hashimov, although Abdelkader Kamara had good earnings at that time, Abdulqadir Soltanov performed the operation without any payment.
The doctor recalled that day as follows:
"Azer Hashimov's father, the late Rasim, and I were friends. I have known Azer since childhood. He brought Mustafa to me. He said that his father is also my namesake. It was an interesting coincidence, we all laughed. He was from another continent, another country, but we were both Muslims and our names were the same".

Abdulqadir Soltanov noted that this was not the only operation in which he participated related to family members of famous football people.
"When I worked at the Oncology Hospital in Baku, I, together with Professor Ibadulla Agayev, operated on the brother of the deceased Anatoli Banishevski. At that time, Banishevski gave me his uniform as a gift," he said in a statement to sports.az.
The doctor added that Yuri Romenski, the former goalkeeper of the USSR national team, was also born in Mingachevir and had close relations with him.
Soltanov, who said that he has always been interested in sports, stated that he used to be involved in judo and football, and now he carefully watches European and world championships, as well as the games of the Azerbaijani national team.

The doctor, who said that he is a fan of "Qarabağ", said that he is happy with the success of the Agdam representative, and that he has known the head coach Gurban Gurbanov since the Zaqatala period.
Sharing his wish for Azerbaijani football, Soltanov said:
"I would like the Azerbaijani national team to participate in the final stage of the World Championship like Uzbekistan".
