"Oviedo", "Girona", and "Mallorca" have left the Spanish top division after the 2025/26 season.
Idman.Biz reports that the teams will continue their fight in the Segunda next season.
In the 38th round, "Mallorca" defeated "Oviedo" with a score of 3:0, but this was not enough to retain their place in La Liga for the next season.
"Girona" drew 1:1 with "Elche" on the final match day. The Catalan club finished third in La Liga with 81 points the season before last, qualifying for the 2024/25 Champions League.
At the end of the current season, "Oviedo" has 29 points and is in last place, 20th, in the standings. "Girona" is 19th with 41 points, and "Mallorca" is 18th with 42 points.
