Former England manager Gareth Southgate has spoken about his prospects of returning to coaching.
Idman.Biz reports that earlier, information was spread that Jim Ratcliffe, co-founder of Manchester United, included Southgate in the list of coaches to replace Ruben Amorim if the Portuguese coach was dismissed.
"You can never say never, because we saw Martin O'Neill at Celtic at his age. But right now that's not a priority for me. I enjoy working in leadership positions, working with young people and I'm determined to try to make a difference in this area. But I am calm about not being involved in football at the moment," The Sun newspaper quotes Southgate as saying.
The specialist worked as the head coach of the England national team from 2016 to 2024. Under his leadership, the "three lions" qualified for the European Championship final twice.
