Sir Alex Ferguson, the former head coach of England's Manchester United football club, has criticized Arsenal's performance in the Champions League final.
Idman.Biz reports that the Scottish specialist sent a congratulatory message to PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi after his team's victory over Arsenal.
According to "L'Equipe", Ferguson congratulated the PSG head in his message and harshly evaluated the London team's defense-oriented game:
"Nasser, this is Alex Ferguson. Congratulations, it was a difficult evening for you. But you only played against a boring team that defended. Enjoy your vacation, you deserve it."
It is worth recalling that in the final of the 2025/2026 Champions League season, PSG defeated England's Arsenal football team in a penalty shootout. The main and extra time ended in a 1:1 draw, and the Paris team won 4:3 on penalties.
After this result, PSG became the Champions League winner for the second time in a row. Arsenal lost in the tournament final for the second time in its history.
