Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone has commented on Josep Guardiola's departure from Manchester City.
Idman.Biz reports that the Spanish coach will leave the "cityzens" after 10 years at the club.
"I read a little about Guardiola, about the statement he made at the press conference [regarding leaving Manchester City]. What he said touched me.
Guardiola explained it very well: being in the public eye every three days, competing, communicating with players, managing the team - all this creates a snowball effect that never stops and starts again every two days after the last match.
Pep has done an incredible job. He is undoubtedly the best coach in the world right now. For his ability to improve, for his ability to win. "Yes, he has a team of the best players, but he still has to win and that's not easy.
But Guardiola wins. He did it many times, then started again. I wish him all the best in life. I don't think he will stay away from the field for long. I am sure that a few years will pass after Guardiola's return, because he is a football man," Mundo Deportivo quotes Simeone as saying.
