Inter defender Federico Dimarco scored the first goal of the match in the 22nd minute. Bologna striker Federico Bernardeschi equalized in the 25th minute. Midfielder Tommaso Pobega put the home team ahead in the 42nd minute. In the second half, Inter midfielder Petr Zelinski scored an own goal in the 48th minute. Guest striker Francesco Esposito scored his team's second goal in the 64th minute. Late in the game, in the 87th minute, Inter midfielder Andy Diouf equalized.
