Laura Harvey, head coach of the "Seattle Reign," which plays in the US Women's Professional Soccer League, admitted to using the "ChatGPT" artificial intelligence during the off-season to get tactical advice.
Idman.Biz reports on this with reference to "The Guardian".
L. Harvey said that on one of the days of the off-season break, she asked "ChatGPT" for information about the "Seattle Reign" club.
The answers she received made her think about the accuracy of the information.
Later, the coach asked which formation would be more appropriate to use to win against rival teams. "ChatGPT" advised the coach to play with five defenders.
However, she did not reveal in which games she tested this tactic.
Women's soccer analyst Kim McCauley noted that "Seattle Reign" first used a five-defender system in the match against "Orlando Pride", but that match unfortunately ended in defeat. However, the team continued to experiment with this formation and, as a result, made significant progress compared to the previous season.
Currently, "Seattle Reign" is in fourth place in the tournament table, which keeps the team's chances of reaching the play-offs.
