The Football Association of the Czech Republic (FAČR) has announced on its official website that Spanish Santiago Denia has been appointed as the head coach of the Czech national team.
Sport.Biz reports that Denia previously worked at "Atletico Madrid" and also coached Spain's youth, under-21 and Olympic teams.
"I am very happy to be here. I am highly motivated, as I consider the opportunity to lead the Czech national team to be a great honor. Czech football has a rich history and I consider it a great honor to be here from the bottom of my heart. I join the Czech Football Association's ambitious project and I believe we will achieve success together. I have only one desire: to start working as soon as possible", - Denia said on the FAČR website.
