"Sabah" football club has identified all possible opponents in the first qualifying round of the 2026/27 Champions League season.
İdman.Biz reports that the Azerbaijani champion will be among the unseeded teams during the draw for the starting stage of the tournament.
The last potential opponent of the Baku club was the Welsh team "The New Saints".
Based on the current seeding distribution, the Baku club's potential opponents are 14 seeded teams: Shamrock Rovers of Ireland, KuPS of Finland, Drita of Kosovo, Lincoln Red Imps of Gibraltar, Borac of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Víkingur of Iceland, Kairat of Kazakhstan, Universitatea Craiova of Romania, RFS Riga of Latvia, KÍ Klaksvík of the Faroe Islands, Flora of Estonia, Larne of Northern Ireland, Petrocub of Moldova, and The New Saints of Wales.
It should be noted that before the draw, UEFA may divide the clubs of the first qualifying round into several groups. Therefore, the list of "Sabah"'s actual possible opponents will be narrower.
The draw for the first qualifying round of the Champions League will be held on June 16. The first games will take place on July 7-8, and the return matches on July 14-15.
