Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese forward of Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr, wants to play football as long as his health allows.
According to Report, the Brazilian UOL portal quoted the Portuguese forward.
Ronaldo scored the winning goal from a penalty in the 14th minute of extra time in the Saudi Arabian league match against Al-Fayha the day before. The match ended with a score of 2-1.
"Personally, it was an incredible evening for me and the whole team. The team won and I scored two goals, which is always important. I always say: longevity is only achieved with enthusiasm, and enthusiasm remains in me. Whether I score or not, this is my life and it has always been like this. 23-24 years of football is my life and that's why I want to continue playing as long as my health allows," the Portuguese said.
The forty-year-old Ronaldo is a five-time winner of the Champions League and the European Championship, a two-time winner of the League of Nations, and the all-time top scorer for his national team, the European Championship, the Champions League, and the Club World Cup. He has played for Portugal's Sporting, England's Manchester United, Italy's Juventus, and Spain's Real Madrid, and began playing for Al-Nassr in December 2022.
