Mozambique national team played its next match in the qualifying stage of the 2027 African Nations Cup. The team won against Sudan 4-1 at the "Zimpeto" National Stadium.
Idman.Biz reports that the hosts opened the scoring in the 24th minute with a goal by Vitenis Chimuyo Joao Kimpo. Shamito Loborino Alfandeqa doubled the lead in the 46th and 62nd minutes. In the 58th minute, "Zirə"'s player Rikardo Martins Qimaraeş scored another goal. Martins also stood out with a productive pass in the game.
Sudan's sole goal was scored in the 88th minute by Yassin Hamed from the penalty spot.
It should be noted that Mozambique drew 1-1 with Senegal in the first round. After this result, the team leads Group J with four points. Sudan is in third place with three points.
