Spanish club "Real Madrid" has advanced its transfer plans regarding Bayern Munich's central defender Dayot Upamekano.
Idman.Biz, citing Footmercato, reports that the Madrid representative has reached a verbal agreement with the French footballer on the terms of a personal contract. "Real" has informed the player's representatives that it is ready to accept all demands, which brings the parties significantly closer to completing the agreement.
The 27-year-old defender's contract with Bayern expires next summer. In this case, he can move to a new club as a free agent. However, the Munich club continues negotiations to persuade Upamekano to extend the contract.
The French footballer has made 20 appearances in all tournaments for Bayern this season, scoring 1 goal. According to Transfermarkt, the defender's market value is 60 million euros.
