"Real" and "Manchester City" Parted Ways with Their Head Coaches on the Same Day

On May 22, two giants of world football, "Real" and "Manchester City," announced the termination of their coaches Alvaro Arbeloa and Josep Guardiola's contracts with an hour's break.

According to Lent.az, Spanish coach and head coach of "Real," Alvaro Arbeloa, voluntarily left his short-term position.

"I am leaving the team with great gratitude because the players made me better and helped me enjoy every day. I will not remain in the club's new coaching staff. Mourinho has his own fantastic team surrounded by good professionals. If he comes, he will do it with his people, as it should be. Therefore, there is no chance for me to stay with him," - said Alvaro Arbeloa.

Arbeloa was appointed coach of the Madrid team in January of this year, replacing his compatriot Xabi Alonso.

Immediately afterwards, news came from England that Josep Guardiola had announced his departure from Manchester City.

Guardiola has led Manchester City for the last 10 years, during which time the team has won 20 trophies. They have won the Premier League six times, the FA Cup and the English Super Cup three times, and the English League Cup five times.

They have also won the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
