The Polish press has prepared an article about Mahir Emreli, a football player of the Azerbaijani national team, who plays for the German club "Nuremberg". Sport24.az reports that the famous "transfery info" publication recalled that the 27-year-old striker scored four goals in the last three matches.
It was noted that April was very good for the former Legia player:
"Mahir Emreli plays for Nuremberg in the II Bundesliga. He had previously scored in three consecutive matches in October-November. Then there was a drought, but now the football player is on the rise again. He has scored 7 goals in 21 matches in the championship. The forward also managed to score in the German Cup. Emreli played for Legia until February 2022. The player scored 11 goals in 33 matches in a few months. After the unforgettable incident with the fans, he wanted to terminate the contract due to the club's fault. Later, the parties reached an agreement to say goodbye."
It should be noted that after leaving Legia, Mahir Emreli moved to the Croatian club Dinamo (Zagreb).
