The Spanish specialist stated upon receiving the award that he has been living in Manchester for 9 years and the city has become very dear to him. He also thanked the university and the club for their support.
It should be noted that the University of Manchester, founded in 1824, is one of the leading universities in Great Britain. Guardiola has been managing Manchester City since 2016. Under his leadership, the team has won 17 trophies, including the Champions League.
