Neymar's father has stated that his son can still play for the Brazilian national team. According to Sport24.az, on July 29, the 34-year-old Brazilian soccer star announced that he would no longer wear the team's uniform and had ended his national career.
Neymar's father emphasized on his social media account that his son has not made a final decision: "It's not certain that he's leaving the national team. He can still return".
Neymar reacted to his father's words:
"My father doesn't play for the national team. I'm not thinking about ending my career yet. I have a contract with Santos until December and I want to do my best for the club. After that, I'll consider my options: stay, leave, retire, or continue playing... I don't know. There's still time until December. We'll see".
