Brazil national team and Santos forward Neymar has faced a health problem ahead of the 2026 World Cup. Sport24.az reports with reference to Ge Globo that the player has been diagnosed with swelling of the right calf muscle.
According to the source, the injury is not considered serious, but the football player will need treatment and temporary rest. The 34-year-old forward is currently under the supervision of his personal medical team at the Santos training center. Neymar's condition is also being monitored by specialists from the Brazilian Football Confederation.
It is noted that the forward is expected to return to training by May 27 and join the national team before the World Cup.
