Italian football expert Roberto Mancini aspires to become the head coach of the Italian national team again.
Idman.Biz reports that, according to insider Nicolo Schira, the 61-year-old specialist is even willing to accept an annual salary of 2 million euros for this purpose. The final decision will be made by the new president of the Italian Football Federation.
Other candidates for the position of head coach of the national team include Antonio Conte and Massimiliano Allegri.
Mancini coached the Italian national team from 2018 to 2023. Under his leadership, the team won EURO-2020. Roberto Mancini's last job was the national team of Saudi Arabia, which he left at the end of October last year.
