"Manchester United" has rejected an offer from "Amazon" to make a documentary film about the club.
Idman.biz reports that the Manchester representative held secret talks with a well-known television network for several months in the second half of last season.
According to "The Athletic", filming was proposed to start from the 2025/26 season and the film crew was supposed to be granted almost complete access to the team.
According to the source, "Amazon" offered more than £10 million for this agreement - a record amount among the "All or Nothing" documentary series previously filmed with "Arsenal", "Manchester City" and "Tottenham".
"Manchester United"'s owners, INEOS company, the club's commercial department and CEO Omar Berrada agreed to the deal. Because the "Red Devils" owe more than 700 million pounds and the club will not participate in European tournaments as it finished the Premier League in 15th place last season.
However, negotiations with "Amazon" were suspended earlier this summer, mainly due to the position of head coach Ruben Amorim. He expressed concern about the possible interference of the film crew in the team environment and emphasized that filming would distract the players from their main tasks.
