The Azerbaijan national team composed of women footballers under 17 has concluded its campaign in the Euro‑2027 qualifying stage. Sport24.az reports that in the final round of Group B1, our representatives faced the host Albania side.
The tense and productive match ended with the opponent's 7‑2 victory.
Recall that our female footballers had previously been defeated in earlier rounds, losing 0‑16 to Ireland and 3‑8 to Kosovo.
Thus, having suffered defeats in all three matches in Group B1, our team completed the qualifying stage without any points. All group meetings were held in the Albanian city of Rogojina.
