Spanish national team head coach Luis de la Fuente has made a statement. Sport24.az reports that the specialist commented on not calling up a Real Madrid player to the national team for the World Cup:
"There is no Real player in the national team? I look at the player, not the club. The important thing is the benefit that the player can give, and we think about that".
The Spanish national team will compete in Group H with Saudi Arabia, Cape Verde and Uruguay at the tournament hosted by the USA, Canada and Mexico.
The World Cup will start on June 11.
