The Italian-born forward stated that he was very happy to wear the uniform of the Azerbaijani national team.
"I am very happy and excited about this invitation. I have lived in Azerbaijan for six years and I love this country very much. Therefore, I am looking forward to joining the team," he said in a statement to AZERTAC.
The young striker said that his main goal is to constantly improve: "Currently, I am focusing all my attention on getting better every day. I want to work hard, enjoy the game, contribute to the team's victories, and score goals. The rest of the success will come step by step."
The player noted that protecting the honor of the Azerbaijani national team is of particular importance to him: "Wearing the uniform of this team is a great honor."
The footballer also emphasized that he had not received any offers from the Italian national team.

It should be noted that the U-21 national team will hold training camps in Baku from May 28 to 30, and in Isparta, Turkey, from May 31 to June 10. Both matches, which will be held at the "Sav" stadium, are scheduled to start at 18:00 Baku time.
