Lizbeth Jacqueline Ovalle, the 25-year-old Mexican national team football player, will now play in the US National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
Lent.az reports that she was transferred from the Mexican club "Tigres" to the US club "Orlando Pride" for a record amount of $1.5 million.
The contract with the Mexican football player has been signed for the next two seasons, with the possibility of extending it for another year.
Ovalle has renewed the transfer record in world women's football. Previously, this indicator belonged to one of the strongest European clubs - London "Arsenal". The club transferred Canadian striker Olivia Smith from "Liverpool" for $1.34 million.
