Argentina national team forward Lionel Messi is preparing to extend his contract with Inter Miami soon. Sport24.az reports with reference to Marca that the new contract between the parties will be valid until 2028 as a condition.
According to the source, the MLS club will give the 38-year-old footballer the opportunity to end his career whenever Messi wants.
It is also noted that Inter Miami will offer Lionel a leadership position in the club after he finishes his career.
Note that Messi has played 23 games for Inter Miami in all tournaments this season, scored 19 goals and provided 2 assists.
