Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski marked an important record by distinguishing himself in the victory over Atletico Madrid. In addition to breaking his three-game goalless streak in La Liga, the Polish forward has made his mark in the club's history.
Idman.Biz reports, citing Bein Sports, that thanks to this goal, Lewandowski has increased the number of goals he has scored for Barcelona to 117. With this indicator, he equaled Hristo Stoichkov, one of the club's legendary figures, who is ranked 14th in the list of the most productive players of all time. Interestingly, the Polish football player reached this figure in just 185 matches, while the Bulgarian star needed 255 games.
Lewandowski's next target is already known: Josep Escola, who has 120 goals. If he surpasses him, the striker will be included in the club's "Top 10" goalscorers list. If he maintains this productivity, he can also surpass names such as Rivaldo and Samuel Eto'o, each of whom has 130 goals to their name.
