Russian club "Khimki" has been declared bankrupt due to its debt to the budget.
"Report" informs that the Moscow Region Arbitration Court has made a decision on this matter.
It was reported that the club owes the budget more than 448 million rubles.
It should be noted that "Khimki" took 12th place in the Russian Premier League in the 2024/2025 season. However, it failed to obtain a license to participate in the 2025/2026 season. On June 18, the club announced the cessation of its activities, and after a while, it was removed from the competition due to the loss of its professional status.
