Juan Garcia, Barcelona's goalkeeper, has been named La Liga's best player of the 2025/2026 season.

This season, Spanish goalkeeper Juan Garcia has played in 45 matches for the Catalan club in all tournaments, conceding 42 goals and keeping a clean sheet in 18 matches.
The publication noted that last summer, Barcelona had difficulty transferring Garcia from Espanyol. The club's salary restrictions and the complex situation with main goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen were among the factors that complicated the transfer.
Nevertheless, the transfer was extremely successful. According to the publication, Garcia played a key role in Barcelona's championship title.
Juan Garcia's contract with Barcelona is valid until mid-2031. The Transfermarkt portal estimates the goalkeeper's market value at 40 million euros.
