The English football team "Arsenal" held a grand parade in London to celebrate their Premier League championship.
Idman.Biz reports that hundreds of thousands of fans flocked to the streets of Islington, North London, to celebrate the "Gunners'" championship win after 22 years. The Premier League trophy was displayed during the parade, which was organized with four open-top buses.
The first bus featured the men's team, led by Mikel Arteta, with the Premier League trophy. The second bus contained coaches and club staff, the third bus contained the women's team, and the last bus contained fans and club representatives. "Sky News" notes that the women's team also participated in the parade due to their success in the FIFA Women's Champions Cup.
The parade was held one day after "Arsenal's" defeat to PSG in the Champions League final. However, the failure in the final did not seriously affect the joy of the fans.
Let us remind you that "Arsenal" lost to PSG in the penalty shootout in the Champions League final held in Budapest. The main and extra time ended in a 1:1 draw, and the Paris representative won 4:3 on penalties.
