The analytical company Football Benchmark has prepared its latest report. One of the most interesting graphs is the increase in club values over the last ten years.
According to Lent.az, the top 10 includes six clubs from the Premier League, two from La Liga, and one each from the Bundesliga and Ligue 1. England is represented by "Manchester City", "Manchester United", "Arsenal", "Liverpool", "Tottenham" and "Chelsea", Spain by "Real" and "Barcelona", Germany by "Bayern" and France by PSG.
In 2016, "Juventus" was in the top ten, but has now dropped to 14th place, while "Tottenham", which was previously in 12th place, has risen to ninth place.
The value of "Real", the most valuable club in the world, has increased from 2.905 billion euros to 7.725 billion euros. The value of its main rival and pursuer, "Barcelona", has doubled, reaching from 2.758 billion euros to 5.918 billion euros.
Three English clubs are far behind them: "Manchester City" (5.1 billion euros), "Manchester United" (5.09 billion euros) and "Arsenal" (4.93 billion euros).
The most significant jump was made by PSG, which was worth 843 million pounds in 2016 and has now reached 4.52 billion pounds. In second place is "Tottenham" (801 million - 3.58 billion).
