"Union" has agreed with a new head coach. Sport24.az reports, citing the club's official website, that the Berlin club has reached a common ground with Mauro Lustrinelli.
The specialist replaced Marie-Louise Eta, who had been acting as interim head coach since April. The 34-year-old specialist went down in Bundesliga history as the first female head coach.
Under Eta's leadership, "Union" recorded two wins, two losses and one draw. The Berlin team finished the season in 11th place with 39 points.
It should be noted that the 50-year-old Lustrinelli has only coached "Thun" and the Swiss national team under 21 during his career. Under his leadership, "Thun" won the Swiss championship this season.
