Arsenal's striker Viktor Gyökeres has marked a historic achievement in the UEFA Champions League.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to Opta Sports that the forward, who distinguished himself in the first semi-final match against Atletico, became the first Swedish footballer to score in this stage of the tournament. The goal was scored in the 44th minute of the match.
It is noted that previously, Swedish players had not been able to score in the Champions League finals either.
The return match between Arsenal and Atletico will be held on May 5 at the Emirates Stadium in London.
