The 2025/2026 season of the Azerbaijan I League in football has come to an end. Sport24.az reports that three matches took place today.
"Shafa", who secured the championship in the previous round, faced "Zagatala" at Bina settlement stadium. The match ended with the victory of the guests.
The central match of the round took place in Mingachevir. Here, the city's team of the same name hosted "Sabail". The match ended with a 4:1 victory for the home team. "Mingachevir", increasing their points to 51, finished the season in 2nd place and will play a playoff match with "Gabala" to advance to the Premier League.
The winner was not determined in the "Shahdag Gusar" - "Baku Sporting" game.
