FIFA President Gianni Infantino will hold a meeting with the organization's top leadership in Morocco today. According to Sport24.az, "Sky Sports" has reported on this matter.
Against the backdrop of growing dissatisfaction with the head of the football governing body, top officials of the organization have been invited to attend a meeting in Rabat.
Several national federations have recently withdrawn their letters of support for Infantino before the FIFA elections. UEFA, AFC, and CONCACAF are threatening to completely suspend the federation's activities if the Swiss functionary does not resign.
FIFA had planned to sell part of the rights to some of its major tournaments, including the World Cup, to private investors. However, after criticism from other football organizations, Infantino abandoned this initiative.
Note that the election of the FIFA president will take place at the congress to be held in Morocco in March 2027.
