Frank Lampard, the head coach of the English club Coventry City, has been named England's Manager of the Year by the League Managers Association (LMA).
Idman.Biz reports that ESPN released this information.
Under the specialist's leadership, Coventry City was promoted to the Premier League for the first time since 2001 and became the champion of the Championship.
The team's success initially earned Lampard the award for the division's best coach. He was later awarded the Sir Alex Ferguson Trophy, a special trophy presented to the best coach of the year, regardless of league.
Ferguson was unable to attend the ceremony in London due to health problems. Instead, England national team head coach Thomas Tuchel presented the award and read a personal letter from the legendary Manchester United coach.
