Brazilian club Flamengo has sent an improved offer to Zenit St. Petersburg for the transfer of striker Luis Enrique.

According to the source, the club from Rio de Janeiro has intensified negotiations with the Brazilian forward due to the lack of progress in the negotiations on the transfer of Atletico Madrid player Tiago Almada.
Initially, Flamengo hoped to sign both players, but now the club intends to focus its main financial resources on acquiring Luis Enrique. The Brazilian club has offered the striker 35 million euros.
