The final match of the Azerbaijan Cup was held today.

Idman.biz reports that the last match of the 2024/25 season in Azerbaijani football took place at the Mehdi Huseynzade Sumgayit City Stadium.

In the decisive match, "Qarabağ" and "Sabah" faced each other. Gurban Gurbanov's team came out to finish the season with a "Golden Double". The Aghdam club could have won the national cup for the 2nd time in a row, and the 9th time in its history.

The main time of the match, which took place in an interesting and tense struggle, ended with a score of 2:2. "Sabah" was able to escape defeat in the 90+6th minute.
