FIFA has asked the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) to investigate the violation of regulations related to football agents in the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti as head coach of the country's national team. Sport24.az reports that this was reported by Globo.
According to the source, it is about Diego Fernandes, who acted as an agent without an individual license, was reportedly an intermediary in the Italian's transfer, and received a commission of $1.2 million for this.
FIFA has demanded that the CBF provide Fernandes' official contacts, copies of all payments, and the federation's position on the matter.
It should be noted that Ancelotti was appointed coach of the Brazilian national team this month.
