The development of young players is a source of pride for any club, and not just in the Premier League.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, although only a small percentage of these academy graduates make it to the first team (as of 2022, 97 percent of Premier League academy players never play a single minute in the top division), their contributions to world football are significant.
A study by "Training Ground Guru" analyzed which academies have produced the most players playing in the top five European leagues and the top five English divisions since the 2016/17 season.
"Manchester City"
Since Sheikh Mansour's arrival, the club has invested heavily in youth development. Phil Foden is the main proof of the academy's success, while Tripper, Rogers, and Cole Palmer demonstrate its quality outside the club.

"Everton"
The "Toffees" academy is often overshadowed by their neighbors, "Anfield", but consistently produces high-level players. From Rooney to Anthony Gordon, these are examples of how "Everton's" system helps build Premier League careers.
"Manchester United"
Class of '92 has changed new names. Kobbie Mainoo is the current symbol of the academy, while Angel Gomes and Scott McTominay are successful abroad.
"Arsenal"
Under Arteta's leadership, young players get real opportunities. Bukayo Saka has become the club's face, while Nketia, Nelson, Smith-Rowe and the new wave - Douman, Nwaneri, Lewis-Skelly confirm that Hale End knows how to nurture talents.
"Chelsea"
Cobham Academy is the best in England. In the 2023/34 season, 18 of its graduates played in the top leagues. Reece James is the captain and symbol of the project, while Conor Gallagher has left to train at "Atletico". Despite transfers, "Chelsea" continues to develop elite players.

English academies remain the world's largest breeding ground for professionals - even if not all of them shine in their own clubs.
