Portugal national team defender Diogo Dalot spoke about the upcoming match against Uzbekistan in the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.
Idman.Biz reports that the player stated they are taking their opponent seriously before the second round match of Group K.
"Victory is the most important thing. Whether it's confident or not, a win is a win. Every point we can earn to advance to the next stage is always important. We will play against a determined team. We don't expect an easy game. But taking the right decisions and winning the match depends on us. That's our main task", - Dalot said in a statement on the official website of the Portugal Football Federation.
Note that the Portugal-Uzbekistan match will be held on June 23 at 21:00 Baku time.
