Idman.Biz reports that the specialist said that the match was difficult and emphasized that his team could not show the game they wanted, especially in the first half:
"The game was very difficult. We expected this after two difficult matches against "Qarabağ". We did not perform at the level we wanted in the first half, and although we had goal opportunities, we could not take advantage of them. After the break, we played more energetically and fought for the victory. I thought the opponent would take risks, but they remained true to their playing style. Frankly, it wasn't an attractive match for the fans. Now we continue on our way and prepare for the next game."
The head coach also answered the question about Khayal Aliyev's playing time:
"The main issue here is competition. There are strong players in the team's attack line, and it is not easy to get into the main squad. Khayal has benefited us this season, especially playing an important role in the absence of Mikels. But he needs to work harder and prove himself. My decision is unchanged. If he continues like this, he may have more chances in the future."
