Today, the Azerbaijani national team will play its first match within the "FIFA Series – 2026" international tournament. Sport24.az reports that the team led by head coach Aykhan Abbasov will face the Saint Lucia team.
The meeting, which will be held at the Sumgayit city stadium named after Mehdi Huseynzade, will start at 19:00. The game will be managed by a team of referees from Georgia.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team will also face the Sierra Leone team on March 30.
