"Araz-Nakhchivan" is entrusted to a new coach. The club management will officially announce its choice as soon as the season ends.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to futbolinfo.az that tomorrow's championship game against "Zira" will be the last for Andrey Demchenko. It was decided to dismiss the Ukrainian, who was appointed in winter to replace Elmar Bakhshiyev and signed a contract with the condition of "5 months + 1 year." For this reason, the "+ 1 year" clause will not be activated.
The club's sports director, Jeyhun Sultanov, is now bringing a local coach to the team instead of Demchenko. Javid Huseynov, who was dismissed after an unsuccessful performance at "Sabail", will be the new head coach of "Araz-Nakhchivan". He should sign a one-year contract with him.
Huseynov's job at the Nakhchivan club will not be easy. The management, which will dismiss most of the legionnaires, wants the coach to create a new squad. He will not be given as much budget as before. The representative of the autonomous republic must complete the season with 2.5 million manats of aid from the state and an additional one million from sponsors.
In general, several coaches will start new jobs in the summer. "Kapaz" is in talks with Elmar Bakhshiyev to replace Azer Bagirov. Bagirov himself will replace Aykhan Abbasov, who left "Shamakhi" for the national team. "Shafa" also intends to replace Elgiz Keremli with Zaur Hashimov.
