Footballer Yuri Matias, who left "Neftchi", may continue his career in Romania again. Sport24.az reports with reference to the local "ProSport" publication that "Universitatea" intends to attract the 30-year-old defender to its squad.
An offer has already been sent to the Brazilian player. He asked the club for time to think, because he also has an offer from Saudi Arabia.
It should be noted that the Romanian representative sees Matias as a replacement for Lukas Masoero, whose contract with the club has expired. The "Neftchi" club is also closely interested in that player. In addition to "Neftchi", Turkish "Gaziantep", "Genclerbirligi", "Karagumruk", UAE's "Baniyas", "Al-Dhafra" teams also intend to transfer Masoero. It is not yet known which offer he will accept.
