A delegation led by AFFA Secretary General Jahangir Farajullayev met with Sabina Aliyeva, Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Sport24.az reports that during the meeting, the Ombudsman provided detailed information about the work carried out in the direction of protecting human rights and freedoms. The Commissioner noted that traditionally every year from May 18 to June 18 is declared "Human Rights Month" in our country, and a series of legal awareness events are organized within this framework.
Sabina Aliyeva emphasized the importance of ensuring the healthy and proper physical development of children and youth, and attracting them to sports, especially football.
AFFA Secretary General Jahangir Farajullayev, in turn, provided information about the association's activities, projects implemented for the development of football in the country, and achievements.
At the meeting, the work done within the framework of cooperation between the Ombudsman institution and AFFA was also noted, and an exchange of views was held on joint projects and initiatives planned for the future.
