A delegation led by AFFA Secretary General Jahangir Farajullayev met with Sabina Aliyeva, Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of Azerbaijan.
According to Idman.Biz, referring to AFFA, at the meeting, the Ombudsman provided detailed information about the work carried out to protect human rights and freedoms.
The Commissioner noted that traditionally, May 18 - June 18 is declared the "Human Rights Month" in the country every year, and a series of legal awareness-raising events are organized within this framework.
Sabina Aliyeva emphasized the importance of ensuring the healthy, proper physical development of children and youth, and their involvement in sports, especially football.
AFFA Secretary General Jahangir Farajullayev, in turn, provided information about the association's activities, projects implemented to develop football in the country, and achievements.
The meeting also noted the work done within the framework of cooperation between the Ombudsman institution and AFFA, and exchanged views on joint projects and initiatives planned for the future.
