AFFA has launched the use of the "Eyeball" analytical platform within the framework of projects implemented to develop football and apply modern technologies.
Idman.Biz reports that the AFFA press service has released information about this.
It was reported that the project covers both men's and women's football, and U-15, U-16, U-17, U-19 and Reserve League, as well as women's U-16 and Higher League teams have already been included in this system. This step serves to expand the application of analytics and digital approaches in local football.
It is also planned to fully ensure the use of the "Eyeball" platform in Azerbaijani. This innovation will create more convenient and effective usage opportunities for local users, and will also contribute to presenting analytical data in a more understandable form.
In the initial phase of the "Eyeball" project, the platform is planned to be applied among clubs operating in Baku and Absheron. In the next stage, it is planned to connect regional clubs to the system. At the same time, starting from the next season, all clubs are expected to film and upload their home games to the platform.
Uploaded games are automatically processed by the platform, and extensive statistical indicators and analytical data are generated in a short time. In addition to watching the full video footage of the games, users can select specific episodes, apply filters by event, and analyze all the key moments that occur during the game separately.
In addition, "Team of the Week" will be prepared for all age groups every week and presented on the platform. This will create an additional opportunity to closely monitor the individual performances of football players and to highlight outstanding players.
At the same time, the performance indicators and game footage of football players can also be viewed by foreign club scouts via the "Eyeball" platform. This creates conditions for local football players to become more widely recognized internationally and for them to have additional opportunities to play in foreign clubs.
Thus, the platform is not only an analysis tool, but also plays an important role in supporting the career development of football players.
