The international tournament "Vugar Gashimov Open 2025" organized by the Vugar Gashimov Chess Foundation continues in Baku. According to Sport24.az, after 6 rounds, four participants are tied at the top of the standings with 5.5 points each.
These are Tunar Davudov, Shiroglan Talibov, Vugar Manafov, and Ahmad Ahmadzade.
It should be noted that the tournament is included in the "Chess Tour Azerbaijan" project, which is being implemented for the first time on the initiative of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation. 206 chess players from 6 countries are participating in the competition, which is being held for the 11th time.
